Who it suits
Women who fill in their brows every morning, have sparse or uneven brows, or want a softer look than hair strokes. Your natural hairs stay: the pigment sits between and under them.
How the session goes
You start with a consultation and a personalised design: the shape and colour are chosen for your features, skin tone and preferences. After numbing, the pigment is placed with the ombré / pixel technique. In most cases one session is enough; a touch-up can refine colour or small details.
Healing
Follow the aftercare for the first 7–10 days: keep the area dry for 48 hours, do not pick, and skip makeup on the brows until fully healed. Avoid sauna, pool, sun and heavy sweating for 14 days.

Questions about powder eyebrows
Powder brows or microblading: which is better?
Powder brows. Microblading cuts hair strokes into the skin with a hand blade. Those cuts injure the skin more, so there is a real risk of scarring, especially after repeated sessions. The strokes often heal unevenly, blur into grey or bluish lines and fade patchily, and the pigment, placed unevenly and sometimes too deep, is hard to remove completely later. Powder brows (ombré / pixel) are shaded with a fine machine in tiny dots: gentler on the skin, an even, soft healed result on almost every skin type including oily and mature skin, and they fade evenly. That is why Mari works only with the powder technique.
Hair strokes or powder brows: which lasts better?
Powder brows. Hair strokes (thin lines drawn to imitate brow hairs, by blade or by machine) look sharp on day one, but thin lines spread and blur as they heal, especially on oily or porous skin. After some months they often look fuzzy or patchy and need frequent touch-ups. Powder shading has no fine lines to blur: it heals soft and even and holds its shape much longer.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Usually 1 to 3 years. It depends on your skin type, metabolism, sun exposure and skincare: on oily skin, or with strong acids or retinol, the pigment fades faster. Lip blush often holds for two years or more. A colour refresh every 1–2 years keeps the result looking fresh.
Does permanent makeup hurt?
Most clients feel only mild discomfort. The area is numbed before the treatment, and again during it if needed. Lips are the most sensitive area; brows and the lash line are usually very comfortable.
How much does permanent makeup cost at MARI PMU?
Powder brows from €250, lip blush from €250, lash line from €180 and laser removal from €70 per session. A touch-up costs €100. The €30 deposit is deducted from the price. Mari confirms the final price after seeing a daylight photo.
How do I choose the right shape and color?
Before the procedure, we have a detailed consultation and create a personalized design. The shape and color are carefully selected to complement your facial features, skin tone, and personal preferences, ensuring a natural and harmonious result.
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours, including the consultation, brow mapping, numbing, and the treatment itself.
Will the procedure damage my natural eyebrow hairs?
No. Permanent makeup does not affect natural hair growth or damage the hair follicles.
What does healing look like, day by day?
Days 1–3: the colour looks darker and sharper than the final result, and lips may be slightly swollen. Days 4–10: light flaking; let it come off by itself. Weeks 2–3: the colour can look too light while new skin forms, which is normal. After about 4–6 weeks you see the final healed colour. A touch-up, if needed, follows 6–8 weeks after the first session.
Should I shave or pluck my eyebrows before the procedure?
No, there is no need to do that. It is best to come with your natural brows so Mari can create the most flattering shape while maintaining a natural-looking result.
Is a touch-up necessary?
In most cases, one session is enough to achieve a beautiful result. If needed, a touch-up can be performed to enhance the color or refine small details.
When can I wear makeup again?
You can apply makeup to the treated area only after the skin has completely healed. This is essential for proper healing and the best possible results.
A little less routine. A lot more you.
