MARI PMU processes personal data carefully and transparently, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement explains what data is collected, why it is processed, and what your rights are.

What data do we collect?

When you contact us or request an appointment, we process your contact details, such as your name, e-mail address and phone number, your message, and your chosen treatment. Additionally, with your prior consent via our cookie banner, we may collect data about your website visit using analytics and advertising cookies.

Why do we process this data?

Appointments and communication: to handle your inquiries, book appointments and maintain contact, as necessary for providing our services. Website analysis and marketing are optional: only after your explicit consent via the cookie banner, we use third-party tools such as Google Analytics and Meta to analyse visitor statistics, improve user experience and deliver relevant advertisements. We also process data where necessary to comply with administrative and tax requirements.

Cookies and third-party services

We use functional cookies strictly necessary for the website to operate and, only with your explicit consent, non-essential analytics and tracking cookies from external partners including Google and Meta. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on our website.

Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data to third parties. We share data solely with service providers strictly necessary for our business operations, such as web hosting providers, booking systems and the aforementioned analytics or marketing platforms, provided you have given your consent. An online booking (treatment, date and time, your name, phone number and question) is kept in our Google Calendar (Google Ireland Ltd.) until the appointment. Bookings and requests sent on this website reach us through Cloudflare (hosting) and Telegram (messaging); if Telegram is unavailable, the same request reaches us by email through Cloudflare. Messages you send on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp (Meta); these providers may process data outside the EU under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Only with your consent, contact events (a WhatsApp click or a booking request) are also sent from our server to Meta (Conversions API); your phone number and first name are then sent only in hashed (unreadable) form.

Retention period

Contact inquiries and appointment requests are stored for a maximum of 24 months. Administrative and billing data is retained for 7 years in accordance with the statutory fiscal retention obligations of the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, or request data portability of your personal data at any time. You can also object to processing or withdraw your cookie consent. Please send your request to info@maripmu.com. If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
